Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi is reportedly planning to turn down a move to Crystal Palace in favour of a bigger club.
Palace, who finished 15th in the Premier League last season, had a surprise £31.5m bid for the Belgian accepted by Marseille earlier this week.
However, the Eagles face fierce competition for his signature, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and West Ham United also understood to be interested.
Palace are the only club so far to have matched Marseille's valuation and Batshuayi's wage demands, but the player himself will turn down the move, according to Squawka.
The 22-year-old will wait until after Euro 2016 to make a final decision on his future, but it is thought that his preferred destination is Tottenham.
However, the North London outfit are unwilling to meet Marseille's asking price and have also been linked with a switch for a cheaper option in the form of Vincent Janssen.
