Emmanuel Adebayor has opened the door for a permanent move to Tottenham, where he is currently on loan from Manchester City.
Spurs would have to find a £17m transfer fee and £160,000-a-week wages if they were to move a move for the 27-year-old.
"We all play football to get money," Adebayor admitted.
"I have to give something back to my community and I will keep doing this until the end of my career.
"I will leave it to Spurs and Manchester City to find a solution between themselves. For me, what is important is to enjoy myself on the pitch."
Adebayor highlighted his worth to Spurs on Monday, scoring both goals in their 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
