Jermain Defoe is back in the starting lineup for Tottenham Hotspur as they face Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium this afternoon.

Jermain Defoe has returned to the starting lineup for Tottenham Hotspur for their visit to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic this afternoon.

Kyle Naughton and Tom Huddlestone also come into the side, while Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Gylfi Sigurdsson drop to the bench.

Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez has made two changes to the side that lost to West Ham last weekend.

Jean Beausejour and Shaun Maloney come in for Antolin Alcaraz and Gary Caldwell for the home team.

Wigan: Robles, Beausejour, Maloney, Boyce, Figueroa, McCarthy, Maloney, Gomez, Scharner, McManaman
