Garry Monk is likely to replace Steven Caulker for Swansea due to the defender's illegibility to face his parent club, while there are no new injury concerns for Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.

Swansea City are expected to make one change for Saturday's match against Tottenham Hotspur at the Liberty Stadium.

Defender Steven Caulker, who featured in his side's 1-1 draw with QPR on Tuesday, will not be available for the Welsh side due to the agreement of his loan deal from Spurs. That means Garry Monk could replace the centre-back.

Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp has no fresh injury worries for the trip to Wales.

Gareth Bale is likely to start after his recent brace at Norwich City, while Emmanuel Adebayor will probably start up front with Rafael van der Vaart sitting just behind.

Jermain Defoe is a doubt with a hamstring injury and Aaron Lennon is not yet fit to return.

Swansea were victorious the last time the two teams met in the league, with a 1-0 win at the Vetch Field in the old First Division in 1983.

Current form:

Swansea: DLWDLD
Spurs: WWLWDW

Possible lineups:

Swansea: Vorm; Williams, Taylor, Monk, Britton; Sinclair, Routledge, Allen, Gower; Richards, Graham
Spurs: Friedel; Assou-Ekotto, Gallas, Kaboul, Walker; Bale, Parker, Sandro, Modric; Van der Vaart, Adebayor

Sports Mole says: 0-2
