Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly ask the Premier League to postpone their trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday amid a coronavirus outbreak.
There has been no official communication from the club, but reports on Monday night claimed that as many as six players and two staff members recently tested positive for COVID-19.
Spurs are currently expected to play Thursday's Europa Conference League clash with Rennes if no more cases are confirmed, with PCR tests set to be administered on Tuesday to rule out the possibility of false positives.
According to The Telegraph, Tottenham will take on Rennes in midweek assuming they have at least 13 A-list players and a goalkeeper available, but their trip to Brighton is in more jeopardy.
The report claims that Tottenham may ask the Premier League to postpone Sunday's game, which comes two weeks after their clash with Burnley was also called off on the day due to adverse weather conditions.
A number of Antonio Conte's first-team players are believed to have contracted the virus, as well as two members of the Lilywhites' coaching team.
