Spurs boss Harry Redknapp sees his side's Europa League campaign as a good experience for his younger players, despite their group stage exit.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has described the Europa League as a good experience for his young players after their group stage exit.

Despite a 4-0 win at Shamrock Rovers, Rubin Kazan's 1-1 draw with PAOK Salonika means that the Premier League side will not be in the hat for Friday's knockout stage draw.

"It was a good experience for some of the younger players in our squad and they will probably go out on loan in January now," Redknapp told ITV Sport. "I am a big believer in the loan system and they will go and do well for somebody else now."

Spurs resume their league duties at home to Sunderland on Sunday.
