Mauricio Pochettino: 'Harry Kane has massive potential'

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino insists that striker Harry Kane can still improve after witnessing him net a match-winning double against Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino believes that the club need to continue to work hard to unlock Harry Kane's "massive potential" after his match-winning performance against Arsenal.

Kane's double in the 2-1 North London triumph took his tally to 22 for the season in all competitions.

While Pochettino was quick to acknowledge Saturday's display, the Argentine has insisted that there is more to come from the England Under-21 international.

The 42-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Harry showed today that he is a great player, with a great performance, but my idea is that he can still improve.

"We need to push him to develop his potential because his potential is massive, but it was a fantastic performance today."

The win over the Gunners has helped Spurs move one point ahead of their rivals in the Premier League table.
