Mauricio Pochettino: 'Mousa Dembele is a genius'

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino says that he is "happy" with his side's draw against Arsenal, reserving special praise for midfielder Mousa Dembele.

Mauricio Pochettino has reserved special praise for midfielder Mousa Dembele following Tottenham Hotspur's 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The Belgium international was involved in the key moment of the game, going to ground after being caught by Laurent Koscielny inside the box and earning his side a penalty.

Harry Kane stepped up and converted from the spot, cancelling out Kevin Wimmer's own goal shortly before the half-time interval, but the big decision left Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger unhappy post-match as he claimed that it should not have been given.

Pochettino was not shy in hailing Dembele, however, telling reporters: "Dembele is a genius! I am very pleased with the performance. I am happy as it was a tough month for us. It's difficult to say we deserve more than Arsenal, or Arsenal deserve more than us. We are happy."

Tottenham, who are still unbeaten in the Premier League this season, return to action on November 19 with a home match against West Ham United.
