Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has revealed that he hopes to make more of an impact on the team next season.
The 20-year-old scored three goals in his first three Premier League starts last term before ending the campaign with four goals in 19 appearances.
The youngster is now eager to continue his involvement in and around the first team next year under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
"I picked up a back injury midway through the season and had to be patient, but when the chance comes you have to take it," he told the club's official website.
"That chance came towards the end of the season and to score three goals in my first three starts for Spurs in the Premier League was fantastic, a very proud time for me.
"As that chance came at the end of the season, hopefully I'll take that confidence into next season. I know that will take a lot of hard work and I'll need to have a good pre-season but the target is to get more starts and more goals."
Tottenham finished last season in sixth place in the Premier League table.
