Lewis Holtby: 'More to Tottenham Hotspur than Gareth Bale'

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby insists that Gareth Bale is not the only top-quality player currently at White Hart Lane.

Midfielder Lewis Holtby has dismissed claims that Tottenham Hotspur are a one-man team.

Gareth Bale has scored all four of Spurs' goals in their last three matches, but Holtby insists that the Welsh winger is not the only top-quality player in Andre Villas-Boas's side.

"Gareth is a world-class player, one of the best in the world I think," said Holtby. "What he is producing week in week out is fantastic.

"But you have to give the credit to the others in what is a great team."

Bale, who joined Spurs from Southampton in May 2007, is under contract at White Hart Lane until June 2016.
