Eric Dier has claimed that the Tottenham Hotspur squad need to keep morale high following the 3-2 loss to Liverpool on Tuesday evening at Anfield.
A late Mario Balotelli winner prevented Spurs from continuing their good form in the battle for a place in the Premier League's top four, but Dier believes that the time between the defeat and next Thursday's Europa League clash with Fiorentina could help Mauricio Pochettino's side.
"We came from behind twice so to end up losing was really disappointing," the defender told Tottenham's official website.
"It's a shame we couldn't hold on to a point or even win it. We came close so as I said, to concede that late goal was a real blow.
"I don't think we should let this game knock us down though. We've a nice break now before we play Fiorentina so we can put a lot of work in and look to bounce back straight away."
Spurs are currently sixth in the table.
