Tottenham Hotspur's Nacer Chadli has admitted that it took him a while to rediscover his love for football after the death of his father.
The Belgian international winger missed three matches at the start of 2015 after taking time off to grieve the loss of his father in January.
However, a goal in each of Tottenham's last two games, to take his tally to 12 for the season, and the support of his teammates is helping him to enjoy playing again.
"It took me a while to enjoy football because you have some periods of your life that are difficult to go through," he told the London Evening Standard.
"Luckily I have my friends and family to help me go through it and now I am very glad to be playing football again."
Chadli cost Spurs £7m from Dutch side FC Twente in the summer of 2013.
