Andre Villas-Boas "extremely happy" to have Aaron Lennon back

Aaron Lennon's return to full training makes Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas "extremely happy".

Aaron Lennon's return to full training has made Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas "extremely happy".

The England international winger has not featured for Spurs since the opening day of the season when he played a crucial part in the penalty that earned them a win at Crystal Palace.

"I'm extremely happy [with Lennon's return), it's been a long time out for a player of Aaron's importance and the team is delighted with his return," Villas-Boas told the club's official website.

"He's proved year after year how important he is for us and to have him back is a major plus."

Lennon may not walk back into the side with Andros Townsend impressing in his absence and record signing Erik Lamela, who is yet to start in the league, also preferring to play from the right.
