Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that midfielder Harry Winks is likely to remain out of contention for the rest of the season.
Winks has struggled for a number of months with an ongoing ankle problem, and the England international has not made an appearance in the first team since the end of February.
The 22-year-old is said to be ready to make a return to training, but Pochettino has indicated that the academy graduate may not feature before the summer.
At a press conference, the 46-year-old told reporters: "I don't know. I promise you. It is difficult because we are assessing him and sure, it will be not easy for him to play again this season."
Winks has made just 14 starts and seven substitute outings in Premier League and Champions League matches this season.
