Jon Ashton claims that Stevenage do not fear Tottenham ahead of their FA Cup tie.

Defender Jon Ashton has said that Stevenage do not fear Tottenham ahead of their FA Cup showdown this weekend.

The League One side, who have lost one game in all competitions in over four months of action, will be eager to add the Premier League club to their list of victims at the Lamex Stadium this afternoon.

"As good as Tottenham are, we don't fear them," he told The Sun. "We've got a fantastic team and a great manager.

"We spend so much time together, doing long training sessions in the week and hang around with each other a lot too. There's a real togetherness here.

"As daft as it sounds, we want to win the FA Cup too. So bring it on."

The Boro currently occupy a playoff spot in sixth place in League One.
