Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wycombe Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's injury and suspension news ahead of their FA Cup clash with Wycombe Wanderers on Monday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to build on their much-needed victory at Sheffield United when they face off against Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup on Monday evening.

Jose Mourinho's men recovered from their dismal home draw to Fulham by beating the Blades 3-1 on their own turf, with Serge Aurier, Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele among the goals at Bramall Lane.

The Lilywhites' title charge is not dead in the water just yet as they sit fifth in the Premier League table, but focus now turns to England's most prestigious competition after they ended the Marine dream with a 5-0 victory in the third round.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Giovani Lo Celso continues to nurse a thigh problem sustained against Leicester City last month, and Mourinho has conceded that the midfielder will be out for a little while longer.

Dele Alli

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Tendon
Possible return date: January 25 (vs. Wycombe)

Many fans thought that Dele Alli's omission from the squad to face the Blades was a tactical decision by Mourinho, but the Spurs manager has revealed that the out-of-favour midfielder is struggling with a tendon injury. Alli has not been able to participate in full training recently and is a major doubt for this game.

Matt Doherty

Matt Doherty was not involved against Sheffield United due to an unspecified injury, and Mourinho has admitted that he is not sure whether the right-back will recover in time for this game.
