Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebyor start up front for Tottenham Hotspur against Inter Milan for the Europa League round-of-16 second leg.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has opted to partner Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor up front for tonight's Europa League second leg against Inter Milan.

The Portuguese boss had earlier insisted that he would not field a weakened team against the Serie A side due to their 3-0 lead from the first leg.

Villas-Boas has opted for two strikers, while Scott Parker will hold the midfield and Brad Friedel is handed the spot between the posts.

Aaron Lennon returns to the squad via the bench following his absence from Spurs' defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, while Gareth Bale is suspended.

Inter Milan starting XI: Handanovic; Juan Jesus, Chivu, Cambiasso, Jonathan; Guarin, Kovacic, Gargano, Zanetti; Palacio, Cassano

Tottenham starting XI: Friedel; Walker, Gallas, Vertonghen, Naughton; Dembele, Parker, Livermore, Sigurdsson; Defoe, Adebayor
