Tottenham coach Andre Villas-Boas reveals that Emmanuel Adebayor won't be ready to play in Thursday's Europa League tie with Panathinaikos.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that Emmanuel Adebayor will not be ready to feature in Thursday's Champions League encounter with Panathinaikos.

The striker, who returned to training this week, has yet to play for the North London club this season due to a hamstring injury.

"We have no new injuries, Jake [Livermore] and [Kyle] Naughton should be ready after internationals, but Adebayor isn't ready, he has only trained once," Villas-Boas told reporters.

Spurs drew the opening match of their European campaign 0-0 with Lazio.
