Centre-forward Kei Kamara says that he has no regrets regarding his recent loan move to Norwich City.

Kei Kamara has described his recent loan stint with Norwich City as a "win-win" situation for him.

The Premier League outfit opted against exercising their right to sign the striker on a permanent basis and he has instead returned to his parent club Sporting Kansas City.

However, rather than be disappointed that a permanent move to Carrow Road never materialised, Kamara has insisted that he is "happy" with how things have worked out.

"I went over there just to prove myself, live my dream and show that I can play," the Sierra Leone international told reporters.

"After a few games went by and I was doing well, I was really happy about the situation but, at the same time, I knew that whatever happened, it was going to be a win-win. I'm sitting here and I can say that I'm home and be happy about it.

"I'm not surprised that it didn't happen. [Norwich] is not safe and, if they had picked up my option and been relegated, I could have been: 'Oh, maybe it's better for me to pick up and go back home'."

The 28-year-old scored one goal during his 11 appearances for Norwich.
