Huddersfield Town want James Vaughan talks

Mark Robins is keen for James Vaughan to join his Huddersfield Town side on a permanent deal this summer.

Huddersfield Town manager Mark Robins has confirmed that he would like James Vaughan to return to the club next season.

The 24-year-old spent the majority of the most reason campaign on loan with the Terriers from Premier League outfit Norwich City.

He has since returned to his parent club, but Robins has admitted that he is hoping to convince the former Everton striker to return to the John Smith's Stadium.

"Our loanees return to their respective clubs having done ever so well for us, but we do plan to speak to Norwich and James Vaughan about their respective plans," Robins told the club's official website.

Vaughan scored 14 goals as Huddersfield managed to secure their status as a Championship side for another campaign.
