Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has insisted that the Republic of Ireland will pose a threat when the two sides meet in Group C at Euro 2012 on Thursday.
The defending champions will be hoping for a win against their opponents following a draw with Italy in their opening match.
Meanwhile, Ireland will be looking to avoid a second consecutive defeat after they were beaten 3-1 by Croatia.
"I am worried about every aspect of our opponents," Del Bosque told reporters. "Ireland have more than just one threat.
"They have tall, strong players and are dangerous on the wings. Their attackers also offer a lot.
"We are going to have difficulties in this game as in any other but we hope to be able to combat those difficulties."
Italy take on Croatia in Thursday's other match in Group C.
