Vicente Del Bosque confident over Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas will be ready for Euro 2012, according to Spain manager Vicente Del Bosque.

Spain manager Vicente Del Bosque has no doubts that Cesc Fabregas will be fit for the start of their Euro 2012 campaign.

The Barcelona midfielder has been struggling with a thigh injury that kept him out of his country's 4-1 friendly win over South Korea on Wednesday. The 25-year-old picked up the injury during his club's Copa del Ray victory last Friday but Del Bosque expects him to be ready to help defend Spain's European Championship crown.

"We hope Fabregas will be on good form and he's forecast to be at the finals." said Del Bosque.

The former Arsenal captain also recently took to Twitter to ease fans' concern.

"Thank u all for caring abt my injury," Fabregas tweeted. "Im fine and with no pain. Soon will be 100% ready to start preparing the euros with the national team."

Holders Spain will begin the defence of their title against Italy on Sunday, June 10.
