Southampton have reportedly turned their attention to Yohan Cabaye as they look to replace Morgan Schneiderlin.
The French international has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United for a fee rumoured to be around £24m.
While speculation has suggested that the Saints have considered moves for Jordy Clasie of Feyenoord and Lille's Idrissa Gueye, The Mirror claims that the South Coast club have instead turned their attention to Cabaye.
It is thought that Cabaye is looking for a return to the Premier League and that Southampton have the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder high on their list of targets.
However, the lure of a move to London may see the Saints miss out on their man, with West Ham United and Crystal Palace also linked with the 29-year-old.
