English defender Nathaniel Clyne praises former club Crystal Palace on Twitter after joining Southampton.

English defender Nathaniel Clyne has praised former club Crystal Palace after completing a move to Southampton on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old has reportedly signed a four-year deal with the Saints, and he took to Twitter to thank Palace for their support.

"First and full most, I would like to say a big thank you to the palace fans, for all your support since I've been here," he tweeted.

"It's a great club and I've enjoyed every minute, but now I look forward to a new challenge."

Clyne had also been linked with a summer move to Manchester United.
