Southampton 'ready to sack Ralph Hasenhuttl'

Southampton are reportedly ready to part ways with manager Ralph Hasenhuttl after Friday night's 9-0 defeat to Leicester City.

Southampton are reportedly considering parting ways with manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

While the Austrian took the positives from last weekend's draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Saints suffered a 9-0 defeat at the hands of Leicester City on Friday.

The margin of the loss equalled the Premier League record, which has seemingly led to the south-coast outfit considering a change in the dugout.

According to the Daily Mail, connections to Southampton have begun to contemplate potential replacements for Hasenhuttl.

Despite the 52-year-old keeping the club in the Premier League last season, he has won just 12 of his 37 matches in all competitions.

Southampton next face back-to-back matches against Manchester City in the EFL Cup and Premier League respectively.
