Morgan Schneiderlin will reportedly shake off a leg complaint to feature for Southampton against Sunderland.

Southampton will reportedly have Morgan Schneiderlin available for selection for this weekend's trip to Sunderland.

The French midfielder suffered a leg injury in training last week that forced him to sit out Saturday's 1-0 loss away at Tottenham Hotspur.

However, despite speculation that he could miss the remainder of the season, the 23-year-old has made enough of a recovery to return to training this week, according to the Daily Echo.

Should he not suffer any setbacks, he will then be included in the squad for the match at the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon.
