Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has rejected reports that the club have offered him a new contract.
Reports earlier this week claimed that the Premier League outfit are keen to tie Koeman down to a new deal in order to ward off interest from the Dutch FA.
However, in this afternoon's press conference, Koeman played down claims that he is on the verge of extending his contract, which currently expires in the summer of 2017.
"I had several meetings with the board over the last two weeks but not about my contract," Koeman told reporters. "It's something for the future."
The Saints will take on Manchester United at St Mary's on Sunday.
