Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims a brace as AC Milan claim maximum points from their trip to Siena.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice as AC Milan kept up their pursuit of leaders Juventus with a 4-1 win over Siena this afternoon.

The reigning champions controlled the early proceedings and went on to break the deadlock in the 26th minute when Antonio Cassano slotted the ball in from close range.

Cassano turned provider three minutes later when he crossed for Ibrahimovic to score his first of the encounter from inside the area.

Ibrahimovic shot wide just after the restart as Milan went about trying to secure the three points.

However, Siena grabbed the game's next goal seven minutes from time when Erjon Bogdani reacted to Christian Abbiati's failure to grab hold of the ball in the Milan goal.

Despite the setback, Milan made sure of the victory in stoppage time with a goal apiece from Antonio Nocerino and Ibrahimovic.

Milan now trail leaders Juve by three points.
