The goalkeeper, who joined Boro on loan from Real Madrid, replaces Shay Given, who has returned to Aston Villa following the completion of his loan spell.

Wednesday have Atdhe Nuhiu on the bench, while Reda Johnson is out after failing to recover from injury.
