Kieran Wallace has signed a new contract with Sheffield United.
The 20-year-old only penned an extension to his previous terms during the most recent pre-season break.
However, having made 15 appearances for the Blades in a variety of positions this campaign, Wallace has now been rewarded with a deal that does not expire until the summer of 2018.
"We are very pleased to have extended Kieran's contract and we hope it will give him more stability moving forward. Since the day we joined, his attitude, behaviour and commitment has been first class and he is improving as a player all the time," manager Nigel Adkins told the club's official website.
"He has certainly done very well this season and we believe he is in an environment with the right people round him to develop further. Now he has more security we are confident he will continue on that upward development curve."
Wallace arrived at Bramall Lane from Ilkeston 12 months ago.
