MK Dons manager Karl Robinson is allegedly in talks with Sheffield United about filling the vacant managerial position at the club.
The 33-year-old has emerged as the frontrunner to take over at Bramall Lane following the departure of David Weir, according to Sky Sports News.
United parted company with Weir last week, and last Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Coventry City left them bottom of the League One table.
Nigel Clough and Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson are among the other names linked with the Sheffield United job.
