Raul Rusescu has had his contract with Sevilla terminated by mutual consent.
The 27-year-old arrived in Seville from Steaua Bucuresti in 2013, but since then he has made just one appearance for Los Rojiblancos.
Instead, the striker has been loaned out for much of the last two years to Portuguese outfit Braga and his former club Steaua.
Following recent negotiations with Sevilla officials, Rusescu has now been released, despite the fact that he still had three more years left to run on his deal at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
