Sevilla president Jose Castro has insisted that his club are "not looking" to sell Kevin Gameiro this summer.
The French striker has been strongly linked with a move to Atletico Madrid in recent days, with one report claiming that a deal to bring the 29-year-old to the Vicente Calderon was 'close'.
Castro, however, has claimed that the Europa League winners want to extend Gameiro's contract.
"With Gameiro, all we want to do is renew [his contract] and go on with him. He has two seasons [left on his contract] with Sevilla. We're not looking at offers for Kevin Gameiro at this time," Castro told beIN Sports.
Gameiro has scored 67 times in 140 appearances for Sevilla, including seven in 13 Europa League matches last term as the Andalusian club won the European trophy for a third straight season.
