Experienced striker Fernando Llorente has reportedly rejected the chance to move to China this summer.
The 31-year-old joined Sevilla from Juventus last summer and hit seven goals in 31 appearances for the Europa League winners during the 2015-16 campaign.
It is understood that the Spaniard has been placed on the transfer list, however, and will be free to depart the Estadio Ramon for a small fee in this summer's transfer window.
According to Estadio Deportivo, a big-money contract offer arrived from the Chinese Super League, but Llorente quickly rejected the proposal as he wants to remain in Europe.
Newly-promoted Premier League club Middlesborough are also said to be considering a move for the tall forward.
