Friday's friendly round-up

A summary of the international friendlies that took place on Friday.

There were wins for Scotland, Italy and France while Germany and Holland were held in international friendlies on Friday evening.

Goals from Kenny Miller and Jamie Mackie in either half gave Scotland victory over Cyprus in Larnaca.

Germany and Ukraine shared six goals in Kiev as the game ended 3-3. The hosts took a two-goal lead after 36 minutes before Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos pulled a goal back for the Germans.

Substitute Sergey Nazarenko restored Ukraine's advantage before the break but second-half strikes from Simon Rolfes and Thomas Muller meant the game ended as a draw.

Marseille forward Loic Remy scored the only goal with 18 minutes left as France edged past the United States in Paris while Mario Balotelli continued his goalscoring form by picking up his first international goal in Italy's 2-0 win in Poland.

In-form Arsenal striker Robin van Persie wasted perhaps the best chance of the game as Holland were held to a goalless draw by Switzerland in Amsterdam.

On Saturday, England host World and European champions Spain at Wembley while Wales welcome Norway to Cardiff.
