Fabio Capello has declined to comment on speculation that he is to lose his job as Russia manger following a run of poor results.

The 68-year-old, who was reportedly the highest paid coach at the World Cup, has been under fire since Russia failed to qualify for the second round in Brazil.

The pressure on Capello has increased after his side lost 1-0 to Austria on Saturday in Euro 2016 qualifying.

The defeat prompted the country's sports minister Vitaly Mutko to say that he would "resolve issues" soon.

However, when asked about the comments, Capello told BBC Sport: "I don't have any information about that."

The Italian was appointed Russia manager in July 2012.
