Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has insisted that Rudi Garcia will not be leaving the club before he achieves success in Serie A.
Garcia's side currently trail leaders Juventus by seven points, and more pressure was piled on the Frenchman's shoulders this week following the defeat to Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia semi-finals.
However, Sabatini has claimed that both he and Garcia will be in the Italian capital for the foreseeable future as the club search for their first Scudetto since 2001.
"Garcia will not be leaving Roma until he has won the Scudetto. He said this in the face of other offers that nobody else would have turned down," Sabatini told reporters.
"As for myself, I absolutely will not leave Roma. I want to go all the way and do something important. I want to stay here, just like Garcia, who is a great coach.
"He is the coach Roma needs. Garcia means to honour his work with Roma, even though he received offers that have been defined as impossible to renounce."
Roma return to action against Cagliari on Sunday afternoon.
