Roma coach Rudi Garcia has rued his side's profligacy after bowing out of the Coppa Italia with a 2-0 defeat to Fiorentina.
Mario Gomez netted two second-half goals at the Stadio Olimpico to deny Garcia's side a semi-final clash with Serie A leaders Juventus.
The Giallorossi spurned a host of chances to score in the first half, and the Frenchman admits that wastefulness in front of goal is what separated both sides.
"We played well in the first half but it wasn't enough to win the game," he told reporters.
"They [Fiorentina] scored with their first chance but that's football. Being clinical is important, especially in a knockout tie.
"We're conceding too many goals at the moment and we're not as sharp up top. We have fewer options."
Roma, who sit seven points behind Juventus, will look to get their Scudetto bid back on track with victory over Cagliari on Saturday.
