Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa out for three weeks

Roma defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks with a thigh injury.

Roma defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has been ruled out of action for up to three weeks with a thigh injury.

The Frenchman, who is on loan from Newcastle United, suffered the problem during his country's 1-1 draw with Albania on Friday.

Yanga-Mbiwa, 25, is expected to be sidelined until around the middle of November.

The centre-back has made 13 appearances in all competitions for Roma so far this season.
