Roma have confirmed that Juan Iturbe has suffered potential ligament damage in his knee and ankle.
The 21-year-old was forced off during the first half of his side's 1-1 draw against Empoli on Saturday evening.
Following tests, it has been confirmed that he has sprained his right knee and sustained possible ligament damage to the ankle.
Iturbe is in his first season with Roma, having joined the club from Hellas Verona last summer.
