Gibraltar's first international match saw them secure a shock 0-0 draw with Slovakia on Tuesday night.
After winning their 14-year fight for the right to UEFA eligibility, the British territory began life as an independent footballing nation with a friendly against a team ranked 65th in the FIFA World Rankings.
The match took place in Faro, Portugal, which is a four-hour drive from 'The Rock'.
Just a few hundred Gibraltar supporters made the trip, and their decision to do so was rewarded as the underdogs battled admirably to earn a famous stalemate.
Gibraltar hosted summer exhibition games against Charlton Athletic and Hibernian earlier this year, losing both matches by a margin of two goals.
