Richard Dunne has insisted that the Republic of Ireland squad are not being motivated by money.
The centre-back and his teammates will share a reported £3.4m bonus should they qualify for the European Championships against Estonia tomorrow evening.
Despite the windfall, Dunne has claimed that is an "honour" to represent his country.
"We all make enough money at our clubs and playing for Ireland is an honour, it's not about money," said the 32-year-old. "The whole country will benefit from it and the main thing is having the pride."
Giovanni Trapattoni's side hold a 4-0 advantage ahead of Tuesday's fixture.
