Ruben Pardo hails David Moyes

Real Sociedad midfielder Ruben Pardo believes that his turnaround in form has been due to the confidence placed in him by manager David Moyes.

Real Sociedad midfielder Ruben Pardo has thanked head coach David Moyes for believing in him.

The 22-year-old fell out of favour at the Anoeta under former coach Jagoba Arrasate, but Moyes's arrival in November has coincided with Pardo's turnaround in form.

"I've had the confidence of the manager and he's given me the minutes I needed," Pardo is quoted as saying by Inside Spanish Football. "I'm feeling very good at the moment and I plan to continue that until the end of the season.

"With minutes under my belt, everything appears to have improved. I feel stronger in the defensive aspect, and I've noticed a physical maturation as well."

Pardo came through the youth ranks at Sociedad.
