Jagoba Arrasate admits frustration

Real Sociedad boss Jagoba Arrasate bemoans Monday's 3-2 defeat to Rayo Vallecano.

Real Sociedad boss Jagoba Arrasate has admitted that "everything went wrong" in their 3-2 defeat to Rayo Vallecano on Monday evening.

The defeat at the San Sebastian left Sociedad in sixth position in La Liga, but they are now eight points from fourth-place Athletic Bilbao with just 11 games remaining.

"Everything went wrong. It was a bad game for us," he told reporters at a press conference.

"We didn't seem to know how to attack or defend. There was no balance to our play, that was key to our defeat. It was a black day, but football has these ups and downs.

"We played a great game two weeks ago against Barcelona, but today was the complete opposite."

Prior to the clash last night, Sociedad had lost just once in the league at home all season.
