Barcelona and Spain defender Gerard Pique has claimed that La Roja boss Vicente del Bosque is "the best coach ever".
Del Bosque won two league titles and two Champions Leagues during his time in charge of Real Madrid, while the 63-year-old has led his country to success in their last two major tournaments.
"I think [Del Bosque] is the best coach ever. He won Champions League with Real Madrid twice. He won the World Cup. He won the European Championship," Pique told Sports Illustrated.
"He's won everything with clubs and with the national team. And he is really humble, like a village guy. He's with a team of superstars, and he is really calm."
Spain open their World Cup Group B campaign against Netherlands on Friday.
