Real Madrid are believed to be close to finalising a deal to sign Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
The Costa Rica international has been linked with several of Europe's top clubs, including Bayern Munich, following his impressive displays at the World Cup.
Reports in Spain claim that Madrid have won the race for his signature and will respond to securing his services by allowing Diego Lopez to join Monaco.
Lopez was first choice at Los Blancos last season, but manager Carlo Ancelotti is determined to retain long-serving stopper Iker Casillas and therefore Lopez will be dispensed with before the close of the window.
Navas, who has made 46 La Liga appearances for Levante since arriving from Albacete in 2012, should be confirmed as a Madrid player in the next few days, once an agreement for Lopez to leave has been reached.
