Report: Real Sociedad want Casemiro

A report claims that Real Sociedad want to sign Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro on loan.

Real Sociedad reportedly want to sign Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro on an emergency loan deal.

Sociedad, who are in the market for midfield cover after losing on-loan Queens Park Rangers midfielder Esteban Granero to injury, had previously been linked with a move for Barcelona anchorman Jonathan dos Santos.

However, according to Radio Nacional de Espana, Madrid president Florentino Perez and Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay met on Tuesday morning to discuss a loan move for Casemiro, who has emerged as their main target.

Casemiro, 21, joined Madrid on a permanent deal from Sao Paulo in the summer, but has struggled for first-team football so far this season.
