Report: Real Madrid want £40m for Angel di Maria

Real Madrid will reportedly seek bids of £40m for midfielder Angel di Maria.

Real Madrid have reportedly placed a £40m price tag on Angel di Maria following interest from the Premier League.

Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with a move for the midfielder after talks over a contract extension with the European champions stalled.

According to the Daily Express, the Primera Division side would only consider offers of £40m or more for the Argentina international, but expect that neither United nor the Gunners would be willing to bid so high.

Di Maria joined Real from Benfica in 2010.
