Report: Real Madrid close to Jesus Vallejo signing

A report claims that Real Madrid are closing in on the signing for Real Zaragoza's 18-year-old defender Jesus Vallejo.

Real Madrid are reportedly close to signing Real Zaragoza defender Jesus Vallejo.

The Spanish Under-19 international has been strongly linked with a number of clubs this summer, including Barcelona and Valencia.

However, according to Onda Cero, Real Madrid have won the race for the youngster and are close to announcing the signing.

The same report claims that Vallejo will remain on loan at Zaragoza for the 2015-16 season, before making the move to the Bernabeu next summer.

Vallejo came through the youth system at Zaragoza and has already made more than 30 first-team league appearances for his current club.
