Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has reportedly rejected the chance to become the latest star name to join Al-Nassr.
Despite having turned 37 years of age earlier this season, Modric has remained as a regular for Los Blancos, making a total of 18 appearances in La Liga and the Champions League this campaign.
However, it remains unclear whether the Croatia international will extend his contract at the Bernabeu past the end of the current campaign.
The lack of clarity over that situation comes at a time when Real are said to be the favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham during the summer.
With club officials allegedly eyeing a trio of Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni in the middle of the pitch, Modric faces the prospect of less game time during 2023-24.

According to Marca, that potential scenario has led to Al-Nassr identifying Modric as a potential addition over one of the next two transfer windows.
At the turn of the year, it was announced that Cristiano Ronaldo had agreed to sign for the Saudi Arabian club on the back of his departure from Manchester United.
Al-Nassr president Musalli Al-Muamma is said to possess a wishlist of high-profile names that he would like to add to the first-team squad as soon as possible.
However, the report claims that Modric has no intention of accepting any lucrative offer which may be placed in front of him in due course.

Modric is allegedly keen to commit his immediate future to the current Spanish and European champions in a move which would take him into a 12th season.
The playmaker has already made 455 appearances for Real in all competitions, winning three La Liga crowns and five Champions League trophies during his stay.
While Modric is expected to eventually pen fresh terms with Real over the coming months, it is indicated that a proposal is yet to be presented to the player.
After starring for Croatia at the World Cup, Modric made his return to action with Real on December 30 as an 88th-minute substitute in a 2-0 win at Real Valladolid.
